Frames from the film
SmarTPlus runs conferences for industry about Mobil lubricants. We filmed the 12th edition at the Hotel Czary Las and the 14th edition in 2023, which focused on sustainability. Conferences like this draw mainly people from industry, so the recap cannot be atmosphere alone. It has to show what was said and who said it.
A conference at a hotel outside the city has its advantages: the room, the breaks and dinner are all in one place, and the surroundings look good from a drone. Cameras work in the room while the drone shows the hotel and its grounds, which gives the recap a breather between talks.
When an edition has a theme, like sustainability at the 14th, the recap is built around it. We pick talks and statements that relate to it, and the theme goes into the title and the cards. Recaps from different years then differ in content, not just in the date.
Yes, short ones with the speaker's name. Full recordings are better delivered separately for attendees.
When the place is part of the event, such as a hotel outside town or a plant. In a city venue a drone adds little.
